A literary prize with impact
Each year, The Hope Prize partners with a charity whose work embodies the values of courage, resilience, and hope.
Through this partnership, royalties from our published anthology support life-changing initiatives around the world.
Our 2025 Partner is CAMFED
CAMFED is a pan-African movement revolutionising girls’ education and women’s leadership in rural Africa. Recognised as one of just nine charities selected for the 2024/25 New York Times Communities Fund, CAMFED partners with communities to support girls to go to school, thrive, and lead change.
Through grassroots, community-led initiatives, CAMFED has supported over 4.9 million girls and young women to access education; creating a ripple effect that empowers them to become change-makers and architects of equity in their communities.
As our 2025 charity partner, CAMFED will receive royalties from the 2025 Hope Prize anthology.
Together, we are committed to amplifying stories of courage while investing directly in the futures of young women in Africa.
Royalties from each anthology go directly to our charity partner, supporting their vital work on the ground.
The book itself becomes a lasting and beautiful tool for advocacy, helping to share our partner’s story far and wide.
Each edition features a dedicated section for our charity partner to share their mission, impact, and the change they’re creating in the world. This empowers the charity to deepen their reach and resonance with new communities of supporters.

Our 2024 partner, Beyond Blue
In our inaugural international year, we partnered with Beyond Blue to shine a light on mental health and the powerful role of storytelling in fostering hope and resilience.
Published by Simon & Schuster in 2024, Tomorrow There Will Be Sun brings together twenty unforgettable stories of courage, connection, and survival. All royalties from sales of the anthology will be donated to Beyond Blue’s 24/7 mental health support service.
This partnership put emerging writers on a global stage, giving many their first opportunity to see their words in print. At the same time, it supported Beyond Blue’s mission, raising vital funds and awareness to help thousands of Australians on their mental health journey.
